As of August 2013 I am an Assistant Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering. At the University of Tennessee. I work in combinatorial optimization. At the moment my interest is focused on stochastic scheduling for the operating room suites, parallel computing in optimization, restart distributions and randomized optimization algorithms.
